Borrowing money

A friend of mine asked me if she can borrow some money.I told her that I can't but maybe she can have a cash advance or have a loan if she wants.She has a work and a salary every month but at this time she is in a cash shortage.Sometimes emergencies happen when we least expect it.It's very hard to have not enough spare money when unexpected financial problem arrives.

As much as I wanted to lend her some money,our money is just enough for us to get by every month.I don't have work and we only rely on my husband's pension.She knows my situation and I hope she understands it.

Halloween is coming soon!

October is fast approaching and so is Halloween.In this event,usually some of the stores and homes are decorated with scary objects.I myself wanted to try putting a halloween prop at home coz I haven't done it even once.I am thinking of putting a web with spooky spiders or maybe hanging ghost or some other scary objects in front of our house on halloween day.

I really look forward to this holiday coz Halloween is the time where children do the trick or treating.Wearing scary costumes and going from house to house asking for treats such as candies.I am not sure my son will ever do the trick or treat and wearing scary custome coz he himself is afraid looking at those scary objects.

Looking forward for a nicer month!

Last year,we were not here during summer coz we were in Philippines.I don't know if it was very hot during those 3 months.But this year,I was a bit disappointed coz it rained a lot and the weather was not good.Only few days of July was kind'a nice and hot but the rest were gloomy :(

Now that it's August,I am looking forward for a nicer month.I think it's going to be a good month coz I see Mr sunshine very often and it's very hot as of now.

Travel photo souvenirs

Our vacation for this year is over.We had it last June in Spain.So for the rest of the summer months,we might just be at home or we might visit some nearby cities.While we are staying at home,some of my husband's relatives will be travelling soon.Some of them will be visiting some of the old cities in France and some of them are travelling outside the country.They are lucky that they are travelling at this time coz the weather is nice and very hot.

For me,travelling means discovering the place and taking souvenirs.Taking souvenirs means taking photos! (for me and I guess for everyone!hehehe)Every time we travel,we always have extra batteries for our digicam and video cam.Likewise for his sister and her husband who like to travel a lot.They always have extra canon batteries for their canon digi cam and video cam.Her husband really likes to take photos and doesn't want to miss the good shots.No wonder why they have lots and lots of photos to show us everytime we visit them.

My cousins are pregnant!

Some of my cousins are already married and some are still in high school or college.Two of my cousins are pregnant right now.They are soon to be first time mommies.One is almost 3 months pregnant and the other one is 5 months pregnant.The 5 month pregnant cousin is already using maternity clothing since last month.Her jeans,t-shirts and other clothes couldn't fit anymore to her new size so she is now wearing maternity clothes.She has a big baby bump :)I told her that she have to moderate her eating habits coz it's not good for her or for the baby if she gains a lot of weight during her pregnancy.There's a tendency that she will develop a gestational diabetes if her food intake wil not be controlled.

Both of them are very excited for their upcoming babies.One of them is going to have a baby girl.I am really envy of them coz I really wanted to have a baby girl.

CALDA Pizza in Davao City

When we were in Davao last year,my husband and I made some big pizzas for my family.They really liked it coz our pizzas have many ingredients.They preferred the tuna pizza the most.It's been a year since we have left and my family told me that they really miss our homemade pizzas.I told them that they have to wait 2 more years before we can comeback again.

So for the meantime,I gave them money to buy a big pizza along with their favorite ice cream.They ordered at CALDA pizza in Matina.They ordered the 20 inches CALDA pizza worth 550 pesos.They were really satisfied with the taste.It was very good and huge but they told me that they prefer our pizza :).

It's not always that I can treat them,only if we have spare money.Little things like that make them happy.And I am happy when I see them happy :)
