Family reunion

Last Friday,my family and relatives in the Philippines had a family reunion after almost 3 years.A simple gathering yet a happy one.I am very happy that almost all of them attended the occassion.Too bad I wasn't there.They were teasing me that I was the only one who wasn't there and missed all the fun.

Though I wasn't there in person,I had the chance to talk to them.Thanks to our wireless telephone that my family can bring wherever in Davao City.Since it's an unlimited call,I talk to them for so long.

I miss my immediate family,aunties,uncles and cousins.It will be long time to see them again.

Sending flowers

My friend called me the other day.She is so bored at home coz her husband is away and is assigned to the other city for almost a month.She will be alone at home for another 2 weeks.Though she is used to be alone for several times now due to her husband's nature of job,she still doesn't like the idea of being alone at home.Good thing that her husband is so thoughtful and sweet.He always have ways to surprise her even if he's away.

He always used his favorite online shop where he can send nice gifts or send flowers for cheap.She told me that he surprised her again.She received a bouquet of beautiful multicolored roses.How sweet of him!

She is so lucky to have a sweet husband.Me too,I would like to receive some flowers.It's been a while since my husband gave me some :(

Satisfied with our health insurance provider

Having health insurance is very important.A person who has a good health insurance can save a lot of money from big medical or health care expenses.Upto now,we are very satisfied with our health insurance provider.We are well taken care of whenever we get sick.Just like the Blue Cross Blue Shield of NC,the health provider of our friend.Her family is very satisfied of what they are getting by using that health insurance company.

Good thing that there are now many insurance providers or companies that help people to be covered.Just think of it,paying all the medical bills out of own pocket when hospitalized is really a big financial burden.So having a health insurance is really a must!!!

Personalize baby keepsake

I am thinking of what gift I have to give to a relative that will give birth soon.I have so many ideas in my head but until now couldn't decide which one I have to buy.I am thinking of giving some clothes or stuff toys but now I am thinking of something different.I am thinking of having it personalize.

I tried surfing on the net and search for some stores that have personalized gifts especially for babies.I saw a lot of beautiful new baby keepsake designs.I really love the personalized pewter shoes set.It's so cute!I am sure the new mom will be delighted to receive it.

Playing Nintendo games

Eversince I was young,I love playing nintendo games.We had a NES console before and we had some Mario and battle games.I played a lot before and even finished some games including Mario 1 and 3.After many years,I got the Nintendo 64 and gamecube consoles.I again played a lot with these 2 consoles.I have many cartridges of Nintendo 64 and DVDs for gamecube.My N64 isn't working anymore but my gamecube is still ok.My son was playing it before we bought him Wii.

We gave our son a wii console.It was our gift to him on his 5th birthday.Though we didn't want to buy yet a Wii coz his gamecube is still ok,but he wants to play the new Mario games like the New Super Mario Bros and Mario Galaxy.Even before he played very well already and did beat me a lot of times.I'm just so amazed watching him playing Mario Galaxy 2 coz now he has 61 stars and counting.He is now at World 6.Also,whenever I play MG2,I sometimes asked him for help coz I don't know some of the tricks :)

Now that my son has his Wii console,maybe the gamecube console and it's DVDs will be sent to Philippines the next time we will go there and give it to my family since it's still ok.
