Glad my son is ok

I am glad that my son is ok now.It's been a week that he wasn't feeling well.He was sick.He even didn't go to school for a week coz he had a high fever,cough and colds.We didn't bring him to the hospital but we let our family doctor went here at home.We were so afraid.His temperatures were as high as 40 and 41 degree celcius.We gave him some medicines prior the arrival of our family doctor but his fever was kind'a on and off.It comes and it go.Good thing that our doctor prescribed an anti biotic.After taking it along with the medicines for cough and colds,he is now ok.Thank God

Keeping textbooks

Do you keep your high school and college textbooks? If yes,it's really nice coz some of the youngster family members or friends could still use it for books can last for years.Now,I have many younger cousins who are in high school and in college who need some textbooks and I don't even have a single book to lend them.Some of them don't have a choice but to buy,they need it urgently at school.

Me,unfortunately I hadn't keep any single book.It's not that I lost them,the thing is I didn't have enough money to buy books before.I usually borrow in the city library or I photocopied the books.

Doing my grocery list

Tomorrow we will do some grocery shopping.We don't have enough stock at home.It's been more than a week that we didn't go to the grocery stores.My husband reminded me that I shouldn't forgot to add in the list some green cleaning products.Cleaning products that are environmentally friendly,safe to use and that cleans very well.Oh!I shouldn't also forget to buy flour,baking powder and chocolate coz I am gonna bake a chocolate cake this week-end.

I'm also excited tomorrow coz before we will go to the stores,we will eat lunch at the eat all you can restaurant.Oh lalala,we will be eating a lot again.Goodluck to our supposed to be diet hahahaha!!!!

Jewelry holder

The sale is still going on here.I have been hopping to different online stores to look for some good deals.As I was browsing one store to another,I saw some nice items.A beautiful sculpted jewelry ring holder,some other jewelry holders and boxes.They were all beautifully made.So nice to look at.I am sure would love to have it as much as I do especially to those who have some jewelries and would love to put,store and display their jewelries in one place.

By the way,valentines day is fast approaching.If you are thinking of what to give to your special someone,it would be a nice gift.

It's been raining a lot in Davao

It's been weeks that whenever I call my family,they always tell me about how it rained a lot in Davao lately.They told me that it always rain at night but in the morning,Mr. Sunshine is so visible.Some of the Davao areas are already flooded.Good thing that our place is elevated but still there are some water in the drive way whenever it rains a lot.

I hope that these strong rains will stop because it cause many floods.And these floods cause some illness.

To sleep well

It's been days that my husband is complaining of not having a goodnight sleep and having headaches because of it.Normally he drinks a lot of espresso coffee a day but now he try to lessen his coffee intake.Thinking it would help him to sleep better but no,he still couldn't sleep well.I told him he might have an insomnia.He knew that sometimes,I myself couldn't sleep well for nights.I even almost took an insomnia treatment if it didn't get better.Luckily,it went back to normal and I now sleep better.I told my husband that he try not to think many things,not to stress himself and less intake of coffee.

Tattooing and piercing

I noticed that more and more teenagers and adults are into tattooing and piercing.For them it is a body art.Some are nice and some are not good to look at especially if they put a lot and are already covering almost their bodies.

My brother and my cousins have tattoos in their bodies and I don't like it especially the images they put.If only I have a tattoo remover with me,I already get rid of those.As I love to get rid their tattoos,they on the other hand love to show it off to the people.They are proud of their tattoos.I do also appreciate some tattoos especially if the designs are elegant and clean.

Sagging skin and wrinkles

Whenever I talk to my aunties,uncles and even my father,I always hear from them that they are getting older and older.They are in their late fifties and are experiencing body aches,having lots of white hair,wrinkles and sagging skin.They really don't like these things happening to them.I told them,there's one soluton to their problem.If they have some spare money,they can buy anti aging product that works for them to age slowly and look younger.

I understand them.I am sure all of us wanted to stay young and look younger.If we have the means to buy products that lessens wrinkles and sagging skin,why not use it right,

Taking pictures

I am really happy to see the photos of my family in Philippines.Now that they have digital cameras and enough memory cards to store their photos,they are now taking photos after photos hahahha.I told them that they can develop only the good shots coz I couldn't afford to develop all the photos they have taken oh lalala :)Good thing that in digital camera,we can take many pictures as we want and just choose the photos we like to develop.

The same thing with me,I take lots of picture everytime there's a special occassion or whenever we travel.So having another memory card is good.

I made some chicharons!!!

Few days ago,I was craving for chicharon.Before whenever we go to Paris,we usually passby to one of the Filipino stores and buy some packs of chicharon.But since it will be sometime again before we go back in Paris,I decided to try making it on my own.

I searched the recipe on the net and good thing that it turned out good.It's easy to do.Cut in cubes the pork skin and boil it with black pepper and salt.Then put it in the oven to dry.After that,you deep fried it and voila,you will have your crispy chicharons.

It was almost the same chicharon I bought in pinoy store.Now I can eat and make chicharons whenever I want.

Buying products on the net

Thanks to the internet,shopping is so easy now.There are lots of online stores that we can find on the net.All the things you can think of,you can buy on the internet.It's really an advantage to people who live far from the shops or department stores.

For example,if you want to go to a special gathering and want to dress up well,no problem at all.There are many online stores that sell special occasion dresses,shoes,bags,accessories and many more.No more hassles in shopping and it will be delivered at your home.The good thing in internet,you can go to as many online stores you like and can browse many products or items at the comfort of your home.

It's nice to buy on the net but always make sure that the stores are securely verified.

Wonderful gift

Christmas is over.I am sure lots of people were happy with the gifts they have received on christmas day.Some received simple things and some received expensive gifts from their loveones like jewelries.I read in one of the celebrity online magazines that many of the celebrities gave jewelries with diamonds to their loveones.Jewelries like diamond rings,earrings,necklaces and diamond tennis bracelet that make the hearts of every woman melts.

Me and my husband gave each other simple gifts as well as to our son.My husband knows that I am not hard to please and even if I don't have a gift,it's ok for me.Their love,care and presence are enough for me.It's already a wonderful gift.

For me,whatever gifts a person may receive,whether it's simple or expensive,it's the thought that counts.

Computer problem was fixed

Last week,the computer of my family had some problems again.The screen was all black.I told them that they have to fix it before the new year's eve coz I want to see them on webcam.Good thing that they have called the technician and was able to repair it.He re-installed the computer's operating system.Since he re-installed the computer,I reminded my sister that the technician shouldn't forget to install the webcam,printer and scanner software.

Fortunately,the computer is ok now and I was able to chat and see my family on year's eve.I was very happy to see them and be able to talk to them on that special occassion.Though me and my family are very faraway from each other,I still feel that I am close to them.Hearing their voice and seeing them on webcam makes me feel closer.Thanks to the internet! :)
