Trouble in sleeping at night

A friend of mine who is living in an apartment is having trouble in sleeping at night.She kept on complaining about the noise of her neighbours.Like the barking of dogs,the loud sounds and some other inevitable noises.She works the whole day so she wanted to have a good sleep at night but couldn't have it.If things will not get better,she might buy a white noise machine.She already talked to her neighbours about it and hopefully they will make some efforts to not make some noises especially at night.

I remember when we were still living in an apartment,we also dealt the same problem.It's really difficult to hear sounds of steps,people talking so loud and loud music in the middle of the night.We didn't have much good night sleep then.Thank God,we are now living in our own house and we are done dealing with it.
