Birthday invitations

My son has been receiving birthday invitations since last year from his classmates.He is always invited whenever his classmates have birthday parties.But until now,he haven't had a chance to attend on one of those.I know he would like to be there and have fun with his friends.It's just that the dates fall when we were busy or we had appointments.

His 6th birthday is approaching and some of his friends asked him if he will have a birthday party.I am sure he will be happy celebrating his birthday around with his friends.I don't know if I'll throw a small party for him.Eversince,he celebrated his birthday only the three of us at home.So I don't know when we will change that way.
