Problem with the toilet

I already wrote in my old post that we badly needed to renovate our toilet room.We have to change the old toilet,put new tiles and add some fixtures.But it's been more than a year since my husband told me that he gonna do it yet until now,he did nothing.I knew him,the more I push him,the more he didn't want to do it.So I just wait till he wants to do it voluntarily.The problem is there are some craks already on the floor and its' not very comfortable hearing those cracks whenever we sit on the toilet.I just hope that he will fix it before the year ends or early next year.

One great vehicle

We were at the superstore this afternoon to buy some sandwiches and soda for our travel tomorrow.When we were heading to the parking lot,we saw a big and nice RV right beside our car.For me,RV is really good especially if the person likes to travel and do camping.It's like living in a house for it has bedroom,living room,kitchen and a bathroom.It's really a one great vehicle.I asked my husband about the usual price of one RV and if the rv repairs and maintenance cost much.He answered me that the price depends on how big the RV is and the ammenities included.

Oh,if only we have many moolahs,I would love to have a RV someday since we like to travel.Even a second hand would be fine with me.

I baked some mamon

It's been days that I have been craving for mamon.By the way,a mamon is like a sponge cake.In Philippines,I don't need to bake it coz every bakeshop sells it,so I just buy it.But unfortunately,I couldn't find it here in France.So what I did,I look for the recipe and tried to bake it.It was my first attempt and I did it right.It was so soft and the taste was really close to mamon I usually buy in Philippines.I was very happy that finally I was able to make it.My husband and son like it a lot.

Cooking some pinoy delicacies

Since we will be going to Paris,I will take the opportunity too to shop in asian stores.I run out some supplies of noodles,soy sauces,rice flour and coconut milk and some asian condiments and vegetables.Since we don't have an asian store here in our place and we don't go to Paris more often,I have to stock some supplies at home.Just thinking of what I'm gonna cook,it drools me more and more :)I'll be cooking a lot and I know I'll be gaining weight again.Good thing that my friend shared with me some diets that work really well.I think I'll be needing it soon.

But for now,I'm just so excited to cook some pinoy delicacies.I really miss eating cassava cake,rice cake and sweet glutinuos rice cooked in coconut.I will deal my "weight problem" later :)

Vacation photos

My son is having a short break at school for all souls day.We take the opportunity to go to Paris and visit his grandma.We are now preparing our things,I'm in charge for our luggages and my husband is in charge for the photo and video cameras.He has to charge all the batteries and making sure that all are working well.Good thing that all are intact in one bag,the cameras,sd memory cards and the 2 usb drives that we bought in the Philippines.We will be bring usb drive with us coz my husband would like to transfer some vacation photos that we took in Thailand and in Philippines to show to his family.

Our vacation was great and we had so much fun.The photos can attest to that :) I'm just excited to show them our vacation photos.

Going to Paris again

This coming Friday,we will be going to Paris to visit my mother in law and also to go to asian stores.It's been 2 months since we visited my mom in law and we already miss her a lot.We really would love to visit her as often as we want especially now that she's not feeling well but we live 3 hours away and my son goes to school everyday.It's really difficult for us to travel long distance more often.Too bad we will not be staying long there.I really would love to visit again Trocadero to see the Eiffel Tower.

Christmas preparations

The month of October is about to end and Christmas is fast approaching.In Philippines,christmas preparations starts as early as September.At this time,people are already putting up christmas decorations in their houses.They are busy putting up their christmas trees,wreaths,garlands and the colorful christmas lights and parols.

My family said that stores and malls are already filled with christmas decors and starting to hear christmas songs.Also,children are starting to do carolling which is a Filipino christmas tradition.For me,christmas is best celebrated in Philippines.It's very colorful and joyful.It's indeed a merry christmas!

Nice hosting provider

Everyday after I wake up and do my thing in the morning,I usually go to my favorite forum.Yesterday,the forum was down again.Though I'm kind'a used to it,I would still like that they have a nice hosting provider that can give them a better managed hosting.I know it's hard to run a big site and it cost much too,but I'm sure they can afford to find a better hosting provider company since they have lots of ads.I just want that the site will be easily accessible and for the system to recovers immediately if there's a problem.

Harvesting walnuts

We have a big walnut tree at home.Usually around late October,the nuts can be harvested.So yesterday,we started taking all the nuts that are on the ground.I was so happy that my son did help me picking up those nuts in his own little way :)He enjoyed doing it as well,it was like he was playing at the same time.Maybe tomorrow I'll be baking some brownies with lots of walnuts of course.

This year we didn't harvest much and the sizes were small.Unlike last year we harvested 5 big boxes full of walnuts.

Wedding photos

Two months ago,we attended the wedding of a family member.Just last week,we received the link of the wedding photos.We were so happy to finally see it.I must say it was special and a beautiful wedding.The couple were so happy and so in love.Both of them were so dashing!The bride was so beautiful in her 2 bridal gowns.She wore 2 different wedding gowns;one for the civil wedding and one for the church wedding.The groom was also very handsome in his tuxedo.I also like the bridesmaid dresses,they were simple yet so elegant.The whole wedding entourage were so elegant in their dresses.

The wedding went so well,from the ceremony till to the reception.Credits to the family and friends that really work so well to have it prepared nicely.

Get rid of excess fats

I have a friend who really wants to get rid of her excess fats.She is now on diet and doing some exercises but also contemplating on using supplements that burn body fats.She already have visited http://www.topfatburners.net for some references on different fat burners.I told her she has to read first the reviews of different products from different consumers before buying.She told me she will take her time on searching for the best fat burner that is effective and safe to use.

For now,she is trying her best to lose weight even little by little.She knows that doing exercise and diet will take a lot of time before she can attain the weight she wanted.

Drooling for mami and lug-lug

Yes,I am drooling of these yummy pinoy foods.Mami and lug-lug are one of my favorite comfort foods since I was young.Before,whenever my family go to the market,we always dropped by at the nearby eatery that served mami,lug-lug,lumpia and halo-halo.I remember my parents were so amazed of me coz I can eat all those four foods they served everytime we go there.I was very thin at that time so they would always asked me where did I put those foods in my stomach hahhahaha.

I already made these foods here but as of now,I don't have the complete ingredients.I have to wait till we go to Paris and shop in Pinoy store and chinese store.

Eating in eat all you can restaurants

Both me and my husband like to eat in eat all you can restaurants.Here in our place,if we are tired and don't want to do some cooking,we go to our favorite "not expensive eat all you can restaurant".Also,everytime we are on vacation,we look for that kind of restaurants.

I remember,when we were in Philippines,we oftentimes go to those restaurants.With all the Filipino foods that I miss eating for years,I have eaten a lot!!!At that time,I really didn't care if I got big after eating a lot because I was thinking there are lots of best fat burners now.I might take those if I ever I got a problem in shedding some kilos.

Though we paid very cheap for the foods,I ate till my stomach ached hahahha.My husband and my family knew me,so they just laughed at me everytime we finished eating at eat all you can restaurants :)

Refrain from eating a lot

I have written in my previous post that if given a chance,I would like to have the same body as the sexy woman we saw in the café.And I am sure many women would love to have her body as well.Though I succeeded to lose some weight,I am gaining it all again.I am bloating again now :( If I continue to gain more weight,I might consider taking safe weight loss pills.I don't want to big again.I said it over and over again and yet I don't take it seriously.I should have listened to my husband to refrain eating a lot of sweet,fatty and oily foods.

Bad weather

We are having a bad weather here.It's been raining for days and it's very very cold at the moment.Eventhough we started to put on some of our heaters,still we feel the cold.This weekend,we are stuck at home.Both of us don't want to go out.It will be long months like this.I know it's still autumn here.The worst is yet to arrive.I already anticipate the worst temperature drop in next few months grrrr...

Sigh...how I really wish it's still summer :(

Beautiful and sexy woman

Everyday after we drop Alex to his school,we usually stop at the café.My husband likes to take his morning coffee at that place.One time,there was a sexy woman entered the café and suddenly all the men were looking at her.She was definitely a head turner.She was so beautiful and sexy.I wonder if she was using the best diet pills or strictly on a diet and doing exercise to have a body like that.I am sure all the women inside at the café were so envious to her figure.And I am sure,all the women there would love to have the same body and as beautiful as her.

I even caught my husband looking at that woman but it didn't bother me.I knew him,he will just looked and that's all :)

Metal garage

A family member of my husband called at home the other day.They talked quite long.I understand,they don't call each other often so they catch up to each other :) After they have talked,my husband told me that he was asking him about building a garage.He wanted to have a garage that also has enough space for his tools and equipments.As much as he wanted to have a concrete one,his budget couldn't allow it.So he looked for other option.My husband suggested him to look at those steel buildings.My husband thinks that a steel or metal garage is much easier to install and less expensive compare to the concrete garage.

Before it didn't bother him not having a garage but now that he travels more often because of his job,he really needs a garage to store his car.

Rolled smoked salmon with cheese

The other day,I made a rolled smoked salmon with cheese.I was drooling to this food when I saw it on TV so I tried to make it at home.It's so easy to do that I didn't have the hard time to prepare it.I bought a ready made dough,put some slice smoked salmon on top and cheese and rolled it.Then I sliced it in parts just like in the photos.

My husband liked it a lot that he almost ate all of the slices :)

Still looking for a job

Due to not so good economic situation,more and more people are searching for jobs and unfortunately,I am one of them.Some of my friends are keep on sending their resumés to some online job agencies aside from the local hiring agencies.They are hoping to find customer service jobs.

I have been here in our place for more than 2 years now but didn't have a chance to land a job.Maybe because it's a much smaller town compare to where we were before.Though I tried looking for a job but I was not really motivated coz I know it will be hard for me to go to work.I still don't know how to drive and here in our place, public transportation is a problem.

I just hope that me and my friends will eventually find jobs.It's good to earn and to be able to help my family.

Browsing some online shops

Me and my husband like to shop in online stores.Most of the online stores we usually shop have some constant promotions,sales and great deals.So everyday after we check our emails,we usually check some of those online stores.Yesterday I was browsing the shoes womens section of my favorite online store.I would love to buy a new pair of shoes,probably boots.It's getting colder and colder here and winter season is fast approaching so a pair of boots would probably a best buy for me.

Aside from the shoes,I also have to look some nice and affordable coats.I guess I have to surf and continue browsing some different online shops that have some affordable stuffs.

Cleaning our backyard

I am happy coz we have a nice sunny weekend.It's warm enough that we can wear t-shirts and not having multiple layers of clothes.I guess singing rain rain go away helps a lot to stop the rain for the meantime hahahha!!!as if I have the power to stop the rain :)

Today we took the opportunity to work our backyard.I mowed the lawn and my husband trimmed the bushes.It was very tiring but at the same time we felt so happy that it's clean again.It's been so long that we haven't trimmed the plants and bushes.
