Rain,rain go away!

Too bad summer is over.It's been raining now here in our place and it's also cold.We have been wearing our coats,jackets and rain boots since last week.I really don't like rainy season because we usually get sick.Infact until now, we are still not totally ok.I really pity my husband,until now he still coughing and still have running nose.Me,fortunately I'm getting better,cough is gone but I still have my running nose too :(

My family in the Philippines reminded me that we have to take care of ourselves.We have to drink fruit juices that are rich in vitamin C and keep ourselves warm.

I have to say,rain,rain go away!!!!!

First birthday

A friend of mine is starting to get busy preparing for her baby boy's first birthday.
She wanted to celebrate it in Jollibee since her other kids love it there.She told me that she will just take a package and the staffs of Jollibee will take care all.I said it's a good idea coz she will not be thinking anymore what to do,they will just enjoy the party.Now she is looking where she can find those nice 1st birthday invitations.She wants that the invitation cards must be fun and with kid friendly designs.I told her she have to look on the net,maybe she can find one.

I remember the first birthday of Alex,it was really fun and memorable.We were able to celebrate it with my family,relatives and friends in Davao.They were all happy to see Alex and of course to be with us in Alex's special day.

I miss eating at Jollibee

One of my favorite fast food chains in Philippines is Jollibee.Me and my sister like a lot their chicken joy.Though we like the fried chicken in KFC but for me nothing beats the crispiness and "juicyness" of chicken joy.Another favorite of mine too is the peach mango pie.I just love the mixture of these two fruits in a pie.Just thinking of these foods made me hungry.

Sigh....I will wait another 2 more years again before I can taste my chicken joy.I tried to imitate it here at home but I failed everytime :(

Severe acne

I was reading an online magazine and it featured a woman who had a severe acne problem before.I find her story interesting so I read it.Though she was one of the brightest students in her school,it didn't help her to boost her self confidence.She was so aloof to other students coz she thought they will just teased her with her acnes.She always thought that she was not beautiful.

Good thing that there are some best acne treatments available now.She consulted her acne problem to a good dermatologist and she was given a safe acne treatment.Now she has a nice skin and an overflowing self confidence.She once called herself an ugly duckling before.But now,people started to notice her and they find her beautiful.

Men with big muscles

The three of us are not feeling well lately.So we just stayed at home and watched some tv programs and films.One program that I watched featured some big men with big muscles,I guess they are body builders.I wonder if they are using some bodybuilding supplements to attain that kind of body or they just do the body building alone.When they showed how they trained at the gym,oh lalala,it's very hard.They have to lift heavy weights and do it many times just to have those tone bodies and big muscles.

I am sure some women like to have men who are into body building.But I couldn't imagine my husband would do that though :)

Craving for butchi

One of my favorite delicacies is buchi.It's a fried glutunious rice ball with sweet filling inside and rolled in sesame seeds.I remember whenever we eat at Chowking in Philippines,we normally order a lauriat menu and that menu has buchi.And here in France,I got the chance to eat buchi whenever we go to China town.But since we live far from Paris now,I seldom eat it.I already tried making it home before but I never done it well.I have all the ingredients here so maybe I should try making it again or I'll wait some months before I can eat it.

Does anybody knows how to make buchi?? can you help me?

I don't want to be big again

When we were in Philippines for 3 months I thought I will become more bigger because we ate a lot there.But to my surprised I shed some kilos instead.I thought I'm gonna need the help of diet pills that work well to lessen my body fats after our vacation.My friends were also surprised coz when they saw our vacation photos,I was kind'a big at the earlier photos,about 2 weeks after we arrived.But when they saw my later photos,about more than a month after we arrived,they noticed that I lost some weight.They asked me what did I do,I just told them that I was very busy almost everyday doing the errands,cooking,and going to some places.Not to mention that everytime we go out we sweat a lot due to the warm weather in Philippines.

But I am worried now coz I am beginning to gain a lot of weight.Me and my husband couldn't resist eating those meats and sausages here.Also,we don't move a lot,we don't have much activities to do here at home.We really have to do something before we go back to our previous weight.I do not want to be big again.

Getting big again :(

It's alarming that I gained a lot of weight again.I was very happy that when we went to the Philippines,I lost a lot but now I am afraid that I'll be back again to 64 kilos.Maybe because we eat a lot of meat here,the temperature we have now is a lot more colder and we don't have much activities we do here at home.

The other day I was searching on the net about the possible ways I can burn my fats.Then I got the chance to read the phenphedrine reviews and some other fat burner products reviews.As I would like to get rid these fats in a very easy way,my husband wants me to do some exercises and diet.I don't like doing exercise and most of all controlling my food intake but I have no choice,I have to do these :(

We are sick :(

Yes all of us here at home are sick lately.The three of us have fever,cough,headache and running nose.Alex was even absent for 2 days.But we are getting better now.It's just that it's getting colder here so I guess it's the reason why we are sick lately.I really don't like the three of us are not feeling well at the same time.I just hope that Alex will be better soon and can go back to school this coming Monday.The school just started and he already have some absents,it's not good.

Tempted to eat those fatty meats

Every week we receive lots of pamphlets from different stores usually it's about their promotions on grocery items and meats.So last week,when we saw that there was a promotion for different pork meat cuts,we grabbed the opportunity to buy some.I remember the moment I saw the photos in pamphlets,I imagined eating those grilled meats with lots of rice.And that's what I really did after we bought some kilos.

I know I'm gonna add some kilos in my body again.If only I could use the appetite suppressant UK that I saw on the net,maybe I will not be tempted to eat those fatty meats.But I really couldn't resist eating the foods that I really like even if it will be difficult for me to shed those kilos added :(

Brownouts in Davao

Even before we went to the Philippines,the islands already experiencing some brownouts because of power supply shortage due to El Nino.So when we were there,we experienced it a lot of times.Good thing that we have some led flashlights at home.Sometimes not having a power for 2-3 hrs at night was very difficult.So it was really a big help for us to have those led flashlights.

I don't know if they are still experiencing some brownouts coz it rains a lot of times there right now.Given that our source of power there in Davao is hydro.I just hope that the power supply problem will be resolved.

Rambutan

When we were in Davao,we were very lucky that there were many fruits at that time.We ate a lot of fruits coz tropical fruits here in France are very expensive.I was so lucky coz at that time,it was the season of Rambutan and it's one of my favorite fruits.Whenever I go to the market,I always buy a kilo or two of rambutan.The price of Rambutan here is about 15 euros per kilo so I took advantage to eat more often when we were in Davao coz I will not pay that kind of amount here :)

A good career choice

Just like what I have said in my previous post,some of my friends in the USA or even in Philippines are shifting to courses related to health care.One friend of mine that I got the chance to see when we were in Philippines 3 months ago and was also on vacation at that time,told me that she is back to school again.She is studying at medical assistant school.She said that since her husband is a doctor,it would be great if she is the one assisting her husband whenever he is on duty.I really thought she stayed with her previous job.Maybe medical assistant pays well compare to her previous job and it's more convenient for her and her husband to work together in their clinic.

She really made a good career choice.

Thinking of taking a healthcare career

I noticed that many people are now shifting to healthcare career.Some of my friends in USA are now enrolling to health care related courses.I myself wants to take that path coz searching a job in the store righ now like cashier is very hard,no offers at all.Also,here in our place,many stores have automatic counters.So I really have to look for other jobs.So right now,I am thinking of taking a healthcare career.I am gonna ask some informations about the possible courses that I am qualified to take and where I can enroll.

My only problem is that until now I don't speak fluently french and I don't know how to drive.Maybe I have to polish first my french,enroll to a french class and let's see if my french will improve.And also I have to learn how to drive.I know there are lots of things I have to do first before I can go to school here.Sometimes thinking of those things made me demotivated :(

Binignit

I really miss eating binignit.Binignit is a mixture of fruits like banana,jack fruit,ube,sweet potatoes,multi-colored tapioca pearls,glutunous rice ball cooked in a coconut cream.It's a very delicious sweet food.

When we were in Philippines,I was able to cook binignit few times.I like to eat it cold coz it's like a halo halo flavoured ice cream.Too bad that my husband doesn't like to eat it.I remember I made some before,he tasted but never like it.So I ended up eating a casserole full of binignit.I never eat it at one time,I put some in the freezer.

Maybe next week,I will cook some coz I am really drooling for it.Fortunately,I bought some frozen jackfruits and some of the ingredients are accessible in one of the stores here.

Impulse buying

Now that both of us don't work anymore,we basically shop on weekdays.My husband doesn't like to shop when it's crowded and wait for a long queue.So the other day we went to the store,did some groceries shopping and also some stuffs for Alex.When we were at the shop counter I noticed some counter displays filled with goodies.I was tempted to buy and I did :)

My husband told me that whenever we go to the store,I end up buy some products that we don't urgently need,whether it's food,clothes or some other items.I admit,I sometimes did some impulse buying.But I make sure that I will use those products I bought.

Upgrading computer's system memory

Our computer in Davao has a little memory space,so my family there couldn't put lots of photos and videos.Unlike our computer here in France,we have a very huge system memory.We can put big files and can store lots and lots of videos and photos even in their greatest resolutions.Since we put a lot of vacation photos and videos when we were there,my family noticed that the performance of the computer is getting slow.I told them that they should upgrade the computer's system memory.Maybe the memory space is almost full and that affects the computer's performance.

I told them that they have to contact their computer technician and buy a new computer memory.Hopefully the computer's speed and performance will be alright once they upgrade the memory.

Alex is back to school now

Last Thursday was Alex first day of school.He was not that kind'a excited coz he wanted to stay at home and play with his toys and computer games.I told him that he gonna meet his new teacher and new classmates but no reaction from him.I really don't know why he is not very enthusiast to go to school.But when we brought him to the school,he was happy and mingled right away to other students.I just hope that he will continue like that coz normally he wants to play alone and doesn't want to mingle with others.

Wanted to try snow skiing

Last night I had a spare time to stay longer online.I was able to browse some friends's pages in one of the social networking sites.I like reading their posts and browsing their photos.So last night I had a chance to see their new photos and got to read some news about them.It's been so long that I didn't visit their pages.

So last night I was able to browse some of their photo albums.One friend had a week winter vacation last February.Me personally until now I haven't experienced snow skiing.I have been aiming to do this but never had a chance.So when I saw their photos all in their skiing attires especially in their snow boots,how I wish I was with them.When I told my husband that we should try it,he asked me if I can bear the freezing cold in the mountain.I told him,yes because there are thick winter clothes and snow boots that will keep me warm.

She looks so young

Last we were in Paris again.We attended a very special family occasion.At that gathering,there was a woman that I really admired,I find her so beautiful.She looks so young inspite of her age,her face looks so young and her skin is so nice.I guess,she might be using a good facial cream and also the best eye cream because she doesn't have some wrinkles around her eyes and around her forehead.

When I asked a family member that knows her,she said that she is in her late forties.I couldn't believed.She looks so young for her age.To think that she has some grown up children and has an aura like that,it was so amazing!I really wanted to be like her when I reach her age.

Harvesting lanzones

Last Sunday,my family in Philippines went to the province of my late mother.They visited the land of my mother and also to harvest lanzones.Prior to that,my cousin already told them that all the lanzones trees in my mother's land are bearing well.In fact my sister told me that they harvested a lot and when I saw the photos,I was really drooling to eat those sweet lanzones.

They brought some boxes full of lanzones when they got home.They sell some of it to our neighbours coz they couldn't eat all of those.Too bad,we were already here in France when they went to Kidapawan,I would have been there if we only wait until the end of August.But nevertheless,I am happy that they got to see again our relatives in my mother side.
