Sending a balikbayan box

Tomorrow we will be in Paris to visit my mother inlaw and also to be there on her
103rd birthday.But before that,we will drop first to Filipino travel agency which also caters shipping balikbayan boxes to take a balikbayan box.Since we are far from Paris,we just bring all the things we have to put and we will just pack it at the same day.

When my husband saw me arranging all the things we have to send,his eyes were wide opened.He told me that all those items will not fit in one box and he also reminded me that we will only take 1 box.It's my fault,I bought many chocolates and french canned goods knowing that there are already LCD monitor,plastic swimming pool,ice cream maker,books and some clothes to be packed.If ever it will not fit all,I will just bring some of those chocolates and clothes with us when we travel to Philippines.

Wanting to have a house renovation

I wrote in my other blog that our house really needs a big renovation.Our living room,bathroom,toilet room and our 2 rooms really needs a make over.I told my husband that he has to prioritize the toilet room coz I don't like the toilet bowl,it's really old.How I wish I could put one of those Kohler toilets in our toilet room.I really like their designs.

I already have some ideas on how our house will be look like.But I know it will depends on how much money we have and when my husband will have the motivation and courage to start the works.If only I have many moolahs,I will not wait anymore my husband to do it,I will probably hire some people.And also I dream to have a house that is built with elegance and sophistication inside and outside.If only I am rich,I would like to have this kind of house :)

I always tell my husband that we have to play lotto so that our dream house will be for real :)

Been waiting so long

I am so upset and it's been for over a week now.It is because of the package that I have been waiting to arrive is not yet here.It's been almost a month since I have paid the seller and to think that I chose the postal service that normally delivers 3-5 days and it is also more expensive.So today,before my husband search for the project management software that his friend is asking him to look for,he had to go to the post office first to inquire about our package.

I was hoping that when my husband came back he will give a good news but to my dismay,he came empty handed.He told me that they couldn't find the package :( grrrr....They will just call us when they find it.

Missing my family so much

Yes,I really miss my family so much.Though I call them everyday for many hours each time but still I long to see and hug them in person.They are so important to me and I really love them.Though I have a simple life here in France,I always try to help them in every way I can especially my parents.It's my way of paying debt of gratitude that I owe them for bringing me up well and sent me to school.

Now that it will be less than 2 months left before we go to Philippines,my family and I are very excited to see again after 3 long years.The funny thing is,my son is always telling us that we have to go now to Philippines (On va aller aux Philippines).He is also excited to see his Lolo,Lola,Titos and Tita.I'm sure he will be the superstar in my family coz he is the one and only apo (grandchild).

I really can not wait to be back again there and see them again.This time,I will make sure to spend a lot of time with them.

My brother has an asthma

My youngest brother is an asthmatic.Before we were so worried that he had some shortness of breath.So my father bring him to the hospital and had some check ups.Using the spirometer,the doctor said that my brother has an asthma.When we knew it,we were very sad coz he is so young to have that burden on him.Eversince,he is always thin and get sick oftenly.His body and health is so fragile.Just 3 weeks ago,my father brought him to the hospital because of over fatigue,fever and some shortness of breath.Everytime I call to my family,I always tell them to not let Dodong play long hours and always wipe his back.Everytime he is tired,his asthma attacks and it always give fear to my father.

Good thing that his asthma is not yet very worst,he doesn't need yet an inhaler to breath.I just hope that he will be cured and have a healthy life.

Hunk muscle men

When I was looking our photos of our last visit in Davao,I saw this photo of these hunk muscle men.I remember it's a contest among the body builders.Their bodies are so fit and nice.I guess you will never see any fats on them,it is really firm.I am sure bad guys will be afraid messing up with them :)

I told my husband that I would like he has the same body of those men but I guess he needs a muscle builder equipment or do the body building seriously before he can have that body.

I remember in a forum, the topic was do they like women to have a muscled body like those body builders.Some of the members prefer for it but some of them do not want women to have those bodies.Every people have different preferences,likes and tastes,so be it.

Put it in a love song

I have a new favorite song,it's called Put it in a love song by Alicia Key and Beyonce.It's an upbeat song that will make you dance.Eversince I hear it,I never stop listening and singing to it.Sometimes my husband would tell me that am I not tired playing it for so many times? :)I just could not get enough of this song,it is just so awesome!

Here's the video I have found in Youtube.I guess the official music video of this song is not yet out.I read that they were in Rio,Brazil to shoot their music video.I'm sure it will be awesome,I can not wait to see it!

To be slim

I wrote a post in my other blog that I will be doing exercise for me to lose weight.But when I saw the video that I found on the net,I am already tired just seeing it.I do not think I can go on with it after 3-5 minutes.I'm just so lazy to do it :( So I am thinking of another way of losing weight.While searching on the net,I got the chance to read the slimquick reviews and the other slimming products reviews.It's good to read the different reviews of the different products from the consumers coz you get to compare it's advantage and disadvantage.Knowing the safety and effectiveness of each product before deciding which one to take is very important.And also to ask my doctor first about the product I want to use.That's what I am doing now.Compare,compare and compare and then select.

My goal is to be slim before we go back to the Philippines.I do not know if I can still make it in 2 months.

Taking care of colon

I have read that people that are more than 50 years old should be very careful coz colon cancer starts to rise.For that I am afraid for my father and for my husband coz the two of them are in their late fifties.I have told my husband and my father to undergo check up so that they will know if their colons are ok.I remember,my father told me before that someone told him about colonix that will help to cleanse the colon.I told him that before taking any supplements,he has to ask first to his doctor if the supplement is good and safe to take.With his age,he has to be very careful in everything he puts to his mouth.I just hope that their colons are still ok.

My husband even noticed that the life expectancy or longevity of Filipinos are not the same of europeans.People died young coz medications are very expensive.I always tell my father that he should take care his health.I do not want him to be like my mother who died in an early age.

Thai foods

Thailand is very known for it's foods.With our upcoming trip to Bangkok Thailand,I will make sure that we will have a thai food tripping.I want to taste their street foods.Whenever I read about Thailand in different travel forums,I always read about how great the foods are especially the street foods.It's something that a tourist shouldn't fail to try whenever visiting Thailand.

Me,I just really couldn't wait to eat authentic Thai foods!I only know one dish and it is Pad Thai that I ate in one of the asian restaurants in Paris.Hope my husband and my son will like the foods there.One thing that makes me afraid is that my son is allergic to peanuts and knowing that Thais love to eat foods with peanuts.For sure we will be very careful everytime we buy foods and tell them no peanuts please.

Refrain from eating too much fatty foods

With our upcoming vacation to the Philippines,I already told my family there that me and my husband will cook some french foods.And also to cook the Filipino foods that I really miss eating.My family is already excited to taste the french cuisine.

Everytime we were there,we eat and eat a lot and I gain a lot of weight!So with that,I guess,I should need an appetite suppressant.I easily gets bigger there though we only stayed there for a month.So how much more if we stay there for almost 4 months,I will become obese :( It makes me feel sad just thinking of it.Hope I can control my eating habits and refrain from eating too much fatty foods.Because if I don't,I will end up again buying those XL sizes of clothes or even XXL size.

Buffet dinner

This evening,my husband treated me again to have a buffet dinner.As of this writing,my stomach is really full.We just arrived from a buffet dinner in our favorite restaurant.Everytime we take the buffet,I really make sure that I take advantage of what I have paid.Meaning,I eat a lot!Yes,I eat a lot till my stomach aches hahahha.I am sure I will gain some weight again,I hope the best fat burner product will help me to burn those fats from choucroute and other fatty meats.Choucroute a dish that has fermented cabbage with lots of fatty meats like sausages,hams and some other pork meats.

As much as I wanted to lose weight,the temptation to eat meaty foods are irresistible :(

Cigars

My husband really likes to smoke infact he is a chain smoker.I am not happy for it but I really could not stop him from doing it.He's been doing it eversince he was a teenager until now.Before,he used to smoke with cigars aside from cigarettes.He liked cigars coz it was more pleasant to smoke using it after meals.When he saw the
sancho panza cigars on the net,he was drooling to try it again.

So I remind him of our deal that this year,he gonna stop smoking.I just really hope that he will stick to his promise though.Excessive smoking is not good for the health and I always remind him of that.

Choosing a car insurance

I have mentioned here in my previous post about the friend of my husband who wanted to change his car insurance.Until now he can not yet decide what insurance company to take coz he is still reading the car insurance reviews on the net.He wants to make sure that he will take the right one that will save him more money and has more coverage.

For us,maybe we will just stick for a while with our current auto insurance company.Since we will be away here for almost 4 months and planning on staying in the Philippines in the future,I guess we are not yet ready to change our insurance company especially that we pay less every month compared to the other.

Excited to ride an elephant

It's been so long that I really would like to visit Thailand particularly Bangkok.It was started when I saw a documentary about the country in a travel channel.And this time it will push through.

I remembered,the show featured the beautiful palaces,beaches,delicious foods and the elephants.Speaking of elephants,I will make sure that we will go to Samphran Elephant Zoo to watch the elephant show and also to be able to ride on them :) I am really excited to ride an elephant.My husband said he is not sure whether he will ride an elephant,maybe he will just take some photos with them :)He's kind'a afraid but I told him that the experience will be worth it I guess.

Hope we will have a great time there!

My friend's printing business

The closer we visit Philippines,more and more relatives and friends know that we are coming home.They have been asking me the date of our arrival but I couldn't give them the exact date coz it's not yet fix.I chatted a friend of mine who owns a little printing press there also asked me if it's true that we will be going home.I said yes and I guess it's time for us to go back there again after 3 long years.Before she logged out in yahoo to buy Anilox cleaner,I just told her that we will be there either on May or June and that's for sure.And I also told her that she should give me discounts if ever I'm gonna need her service.

She's so lucky that her printing business is doing good in Davao.My aunt had a printing press before but had to shut down because of many competitors.

Celebrities homes

As what I have said in my previous post,I was amazed by the homes of the celebrities.From their living room,dining room,kitchen,bathrooms and bedrooms,you will really say wow!!!!all of the places are furnish with nice and elegant furnitures.Their entertainment rooms have big entertainment centers to fit their big plasma or LCD TVs and some of their electronic components.

I really dream to have one of their houses.A big big house with swimming pool,nice furnitures and a good car.Maybe if I will win in lotto,I will probably build a house the same as theirs.

Celebrities lives

Everyday I read the online celebrity magazine to have some news of the famous celebrities.The online magazine features the celebrities lives.Their families,homes,vacation and much more.I was amazed when I saw the beautiful houses they have.I particularly like the bathroom of one celebrity that has a granite stone sink and a nice faucet.If I can only change our bathroom,I wanted it to be in a contemporary style.

They are so lucky to have a nice and even luxurious lifestyle.They travel a lot to different countries,eating to high end restaurants,having some luxurious cars to name a few.

Job search site

As what I have posted in my other blog,some of the people I know are jobless right now just like me.Even in the forums I visit frequently,some of the topics are concerning about jobs/works.It's just that there are more and more people who are looking for jobs. Some of the members are sharing some infos and tips on how to find a job.They even put some sites that offer job posting datebases just like the St Louis job search site.With their job search engine,people can easily find local job openings in their area.

I myself always go to some online job search sites.I also posted my resume and I always check the offers everyday.I really want to work again and I hope it will be soon.
