Hiring a moving company

It's been almost a year since we moved here in our new place.Moving to different place especially if it's too far from where you lived before is very tiring and stressful.That's the reason why we hired a moving company.Also we didn't have a choice since my husband didn't want to bother his family.

Unfortunately,we had a bad experience on the moving company we hired,they charged us a lot.But still there are many good moving services around but you have to be very careful in choosing the right one.Choose a company with good service,no other hidden fees/charges and of course,a company that will not rip you off.

We love to travel

We love to travel to different places.Both me and my husband want to do this as long as we can still afford.I know it's hard for us to spend lots of money right now since both of us don't work anymore and just staying at home.How I wish I could win some free hotel rooms,that would be a big savings for us!

I'm just thankful to my husband for showing me the world and experienced other people's cultures.He told me that,while we still can,we travel and if the time comes that we couldn't afford anymore,then that's the time we'll just stay at home :).I don't want to jeopardize our finances either.

I'm excited for our Portugal trip this coming June!

I'm excited for our vacation!

Yes,I'm very excited for our upcoming vacation this June.We will go to Portugal for 10 days or more.We will surely visit Lisbon,the capital,Albufeira which is located at the south of the country and some other interesting places around.Albufeira is very known for great and beautiful beaches.Hope it will push through and also hoping the weather will be great at that time.

Comfortable bed

When we sleep,we want our bed to be comfortable.A bed that doesn't give you back pains and have a feeling of truly rested when you wake up.With the traditional matress bed that is made up of coils and springs,people sometimes have a not so nice time in sleeping since it's kind'a hard to sleep on.How I wish we have a comfortable sleep number bed so that I can sleep well.It's nice if our bed can be adjustable and we can control it to our liking just a touch of a button.

A nice exercise machine

Just like me,a friend of mine really wanted to lose weight too.She is so serious about taking off some kilos of fats in her body.She weighs 65 kilos and she's not that tall.Her weight is not proportion to her height so that makes her obese.People sometimes so mean to her,making some not so nice remarks about her physical appearance that really hurt her feelings.

Aside from doing a diet,she also do some exercises at home.She even bought a treadmill.She told me that it's practical since she doesn't need to go out anymore just to run,walk or jog outside because with treadmill,she can walk and run in the moving platform.It gives me an idea to enroll in the gym.

Wishing that the value of euro will go up

It's been so long that the value of euro is not going up,but instead it gradually going down :(.It is really hard for us since we are the one who supports my family in Philippines.If the value of euro is going down,it means,we have to add up some euros to the usual amount we send to compensate the monthly allowance that we usually give to my family.

I guess,it was 3 or 4 years ago that 1 euro reached up to 72 pesos.But last year it even reached to 57 pesos,what a worst change!now it's still in the range of 60 pesos.

I thought currencies will increase it's value as the time goes by but I was wrong.How I wish euro will get back it's strength in the market and hopefully will reach the mark of 70 pesos again soon.

Hobby

Are you in collecting things? me when I was younger,my hobby is to collect stickers and stamps.I always ask my relatives,friends and neighbours if they have stamps from other countries that could add up to my collections.But I stopped collecting those stuffs when I arrived here in France.A relative of my husband likes to collect stones.Everytime they travel,he usually bring some stones or rocks from the place they have visited.They even have a rock tumbler at their home.They like to polish all the rocks and stones they've brought and make it an ornaments or decorative at home.It's indeed a nice hobby to do.

Sports fest

I remember when I was in high school,college and even in our place,there is always a sports fest every year.I got excited everytime coz we can see our favorite teams playing.The non stop cheering and shouting everytime they play.And when it's time for the awarding ceremony,all the prizes,such as the softball trophies,basketball trophies,basketball trophies,volleyball trophies and some trophies in other sports are well arranged on the table waiting to give it to the winners.

I remember,I tried everytime to be part of the volleyball team but I was never accepted :( maybe they thought that I'm weak for I was very thin when I was young.

Charice's new single 'Fingerprint"

Have you heard the new single of Charice's US album?if not,you should listen to her song titled Fingerprint.It is an upbeat song and totally fantastic!.

The first time she sing her new single was in "After Oscar Party 2008" charity event in Hollywood but she didn't sing the full song due to technical problems.But in this video,she did sing the full song and as usual,people admired her singing prowess.

There is nothing that can stop Charice fame now.She performs with big stars and prominent people.For sure,she will make it big internationally.I really hope that her US album will do well.

Dating site

Nowadays,many single people who are looking for love use internet.Searching online makes easy for them to meet different people in different places.As what I have said in my previous post,many people met their partners in life through online.And I can testify to that because me and my husband met through a dating site.It was a new experience to both of us since we both didn't know each other's country,language and cultures.

At first,our families couldn't believe how can a french man met a Filipina who lives thousand miles away and lives in the other side of the globe.Not only me,also lots of Filipinas in the Philippines married their foreign husbands or partners through online dating sites.That's how powerful internet works.It really connects people.

More and more people are into online dating right now.Many are so grateful to dating site for helping them find their significant other half.

Bought another fruit bearing trees again

We went out again today and fortunately,we found two nectarine trees.Both me and my husband like this fruit a lot.He told me that I never stop buying trees and that I gave him a lot of work coz he has to dig some big holes to plant the trees.

As of now,we have some apple trees,cherry trees,nectarine trees and peach trees.We will buy also some apricot and prune trees if we find some.Tomorrow,we will resume again cleaning the land.I really wish that all the trees and plants that we bought will grow and be healthy.

Glad that our car is ok

Last Saturday we went out as usual for some grocery shopping,to buy some garden tools again and some seedlings.While on the road going to home,we heard an unusual noise from our car.When we got home,my husband checked the car and found out that the noise came from the wheel.

He changed the very used bearings of the wheel and fortunately when he tested the car,there was no more noise.I was relieved because I thought we will be spending again some euros in the auto repair shop.We were glad that our car is ok.
