Cleaning the land

As what I've posted in my other blog,we already started cleaning the agricultural land that we bought since Mr. sunshine came out already but still it's cold outside.It's still winter here but fortunately,no more snow here in our place.

I'm sure it will be hard for us cleaning half hectare of land full of weeds,unwanted trees and grass.But we will do the cleaning day by day,little by little until the whole area will be clean.I know it will take a long time but I don't want my husband will get very tired.So 3-4 hrs a day of cleaning is enough.I'm excited of the time that we can able to plant fruit bearing trees,veges,herbs and flowers.

Inevitable motorcycle accidents

My husband told me that he doesn't want to have a motorcycle because of more inevitable accidents it may cause than driving a car.I,myself can attest to that because my father had several accidents while riding his motorcycle.But still,it never stopped him from using it.

Roasted lamb

Roasted lamb is one of my favorite foods here in France.I really like the distinct taste of this meat.Some don't like it but I prefer eating this meat over pork.I remembered when I just arrived here,my husband prepared it on Sunday(it's french cuisine day for us),I wasn't still used eating meat that is not cook very well.At first,I told my husband that my part should be well done.But I already appreciated the taste,especially my husband put a lot of herbs and spices.

By the way to roast a lamb in french way is first,you have to put oil all over the meat.Then you have to put some garlic inside the meat(just make a hole in the meat then put it inside,it adds more flavor)Then put some salt,black pepper and herbes de provence all over the meat.After you put in a tray,if you want ,you can put some veges like onions and potatoes.Easy as that!

Using safety equipments at work

When I was young,my mother and some relatives worked in the construction.My mom worked as a bookeeper and some relatives as construction workers.Since my school that time was near to the construction building,I would go there everyday.I saw them working,my mom and her colleagues sometimes brought me in the workplace.With the nature of their works,one must really use a safety equipment while working to avoid the accidents.For example a construction worker,depending on his type of work,must have a head and eye protection,work gloves and body belts to name a few.Being geared with these safety equipments is very important for the protection of the workers.

Happy Valentines day to all!!! may our relationship to our husband/partner become more stronger and love will always be around.Me and my husband just stayed home coz it snowed a lot here yesterday,he just kissed and greeted me.I didn't have flowers this year :( but it's already enough for me knowing that he loves and cares for me a lot.

Emergency light

The other night we experienced some strong winds blowing that I even thought trees will fall and hit our house.Thanked God,nothing happened after,just some branches of trees were fallen.But in the western and northern part of France,thousands of homes and buildings didn't have electricity because of storm.In times of power outage,it's better to have a generator or emergency light so that there's still a light while waiting the electricity be back to normal.It's really important to have these things for emergency purposes.

Rolex watches

I love to watch entertainment shows or any showbiz talk shows aside from voyage channels even when I was still in the Philippines and upto now.I always want to see my favorite singers and actors and be updated with their lives through television and magazine.One time,they featured a celebrity who's collecting high-end watches.He showed his Rolex President watch and some other rolex watches.I said wow!I was really envy to him having this kind of collection.How I wish I have many moolahs at the bank so that I could buy even one rolex watch.

Friands

Friands is the food that I often do here at home.Both me and my husband like it a lot.We usually eat it with salad and it's already a meal for us.By the way,these friands that I made consist of ground pork,liver of chicken,egg,spring onions and parsley with some oyster sauce,black pepper,little of sugar and salt.Everytime I cook,I don't usually measure,I just look and taste it but if I don't know the food or recipe,that's the time I have to follow the instructions :).It's so easy to do coz you just have to mix all the ingredients then you're ready to put it in the "pate feuilletes" and bake.

Need to redo our bathroom

I already posted that here in our new abode,we have many works to do since it's not a new house.For sure we have many things to repair and to replace.We already started the room of Alex.The next one is our bathroom because it's not nice to look at and needs to redo entirely.To have an idea what faucets and fixtures we have to put,I browsed on the net to get some ideas.I like the Moen faucets that I saw at faucets.com.They are stylish and with high quality.I would love those faucets to be used in our bathroom.I really hope that we have enough budget to redo our bathroom.

Problem with meal moths at home?

I talked to my friend and I told her that we have a problem with insects at home.I said that we don't know what's the best thing to do to eliminate those pests.She gave me an advice if ever here in our home we experienced being infested with indian meal moth for they went through with this situation too.She told me that they used Indian meal moth traps since it's easy to use,pesticide free and it really works.She told me that now,they are sure that their foods in pantry are safe from meal moths.I just told her that I'll certainly look the product she told me.
