When I was calling my family last Saturday my father told me that there was a strong typhoon in the Luzon area.The water level in Manila and some other nearby cities were high that even reached the roof of some of the houses.I have read that there are already 240 persons died and some are missing as of now.I guess,it was the worst flooding in Luzon area.It was so scary and at the same time so depressing.A very saddening situation.
I saw a video in youtube where cars with some passengers inside eroded by the strong flood and people were at the top of their houses waiting for the rain to subside.Thank God,the rain stopped but the traumas and damages are still there :(
It really breaks my heart seeing people especially children suffering from this calamity.I really pity to all the victims of this unmerciful typhoon Ondoy.Hope the governement will continue to give foods,medicines and possible shelter for those homeless victims.
I just hope that people will learn the proper disposal of waste or garbage,taking care of our forest,environment and also putting up some good drainages in every places so that we can avoid this to happen again.
