Mixed Couple

We are one of those mixed couple here in France.Usually mixed marriages raise curiousity to other people.Others will say how can two people with different beliefs,traditions,opinions,way of living be together?

Due to differences we have,it's quite hard at first to deal with each other's weaknesses at the early stage of marriage,a lot of adjustments to make.But we learned to understand and accept each other's flaws.I know him,he knows me,he sees me in my bad mood and vice versa.I'm just so glad that my husband is so kind and very understanding,I really couldn't ask for more.I love him so much!!!Je t'aime mon Pangga!

I guess that's the reason why we are still together and going strong all these years.We love each other so much and we have a son that keeps the bonding stronger. For me,love and respect are the keys to have a successful marriage.

I was browsing again in You Tube and found this video,I thought of sharing it to you,the next Filipino pride!

Not all people were given such a big opportunity like Arnel Pineda.He is so lucky to be discovered at You Tube where the original band member of Journey search for their vocalist.Having such a great voice and unique style,no wonder he got it.

I hope many more Filipino singers will be given a chance in International music scene.I bet Charice Pempengco will be the next one.

Peso is soaring!

Yesterday, I went to the Philippine National Bank in Paris to send some money to my family.I'm just a bit sad because the exchange value of euro to peso gradually goes down and it really freaks me out so much. As I have said in my previous post,I'll be quitting my job in 2 months and that means the amount of money that I sent before will not be the same anymore.
I'm happy as well for my country.This soaring of peso equates booming of economy, more developments and hopefully more jobs to my fellowmen in Philippines for the government can pay more of their international debts.They said that the country is towards to a bigger leap but why is it that the majority of Filipinos don't feel the outcome of this so called "soaring of peso".I really hope that the poor people benefit from this because they deserve to have a better life.

Unlimited Calls to the Philippines!

When I was at the PNB last month,I saw this pamphlet that really caught my attention.Unlimited calls to the Philippines.What?!!!Yeah,it's true.Bayan Family Ties is the first time telecommunication company from Philippines offers this kind of deal to the Filipinos here in France and even in europe.What a great news indeed huh!
I'm so excited now because by tomorrow,my father will pick up the phone and I can start talking to them for hours heehehe...It's so convenient for me and it lessens my expenses for phonecards.What a great deal!

I want to go to the beach!!!!!!

Brrrr....it's freezing cold here,we're in 0 degree celcius and it was even negative the other day.I really envy to the people who live in the tropical country.What a chance!

Now that summer is fast approaching in Philippines,I'm sure many people flock to the beaches.You know what,we've been to different beach resorts in europe,but I only saw my husband swimming at the beach in Davao,he prefers the warm temperature of the water there compared here.

Usually,when we visit Davao City,we did not miss to go to Paradise Island Beach Resort in Samal.With it's white sand and blue crystal water,you will surely love to stay there and not only that,they also have restaurant and mini zoo.

The ever known Louvre Museum

Louvre Museum is one of the most visited place here in France and the most visited museum in the world.It is located near Garden of Tuileries and Seine river. Here,you can see the famous Monalisa by Leonardo Da Vinci and some other world’s famous works of art .
In the middle,you can see the Louvre Pyramid which serves as the main entrance of the museum. I remembered,when we went there,with so much beautiful paintings and sculptures,we never visited the whole place,we runned out of time.It’s really worth the visit though.
By the it was featured in the film of The Da Vinci Code 2006 with Tom Hanks as an actor.

Leaving soon at work

Yeah that's true,I'll be quitting my job soon. It's really hard for me to decide because I have been working there for 4 years now and a regular employee too but what can I do,I have to consider the happiness and needs of my husband.He does not want to live anymore in a condo style home.He wants to have a garden where he can spend his time planting vegetables and flowers and also for Alex to play around.
Since we already found a house,I have to notify them in advance that in 2 months,I'll be leaving permanently.I have to resign.
Hope that life will be better in our new abode.Bonne chance a nous!
