But you know,in my first 2 years here in France,I would never eat any smoked food because I thought it's not cooked,I was brought up that any meat or fillet of fish should be cooked unless if you will prepare a Kinilaw(raw fish with vinegar). As the time went by,I gradually like it.When you taste it,seems it melts in your mouth.C'est bon!
By the way, if you want to make a Kinilaw and can't find any fresh tuna,I suggest you use smoked salmon as a substitute, ang sarap talaga!

I like smoked salmon too, on top of a cracker or french bread with cream cheese. :) Kaso lang my dh does not like it so hindi ako bumibili kse masasayang lang dahil ako lang kakain.
Hello Barb, ako na nainfluenced lng ako ng asawa ko.Yan,exactly ang ginagawa ng asawa ko Bar,ang kainin on top of the bread with butter.Ako nga 1 o 2 small pack na 200 grms, maubos ko yan.
It is very healthy food.I am a seafood lover and yes, salmon is always a great substitue when the expensive "bariles"(yellow fin) is unavailable.Mind u,salmon is expensive here in the philippines!
