I've seen Ruffa Gutierez on TV Patrol stating her opinion about the winner in the 45th Binibining Pilipinas Pageant.She commented about how Binibining Pilipinas winners should be.For me, the winners represent our country in the international pageants so,we don't only base how beautiful the candidate but how intelligent,witty,and confident she is.
I searched on You Tube,if I can find some related videos about the newly ended pageant and saw this video:What is your verdict?
Is she deserving to win?
Based on her answers,I have a doubt why she was emmerged as one of the big winners.Maybe she was nervous at that time and she was a first timer in the arena of beauty pageant that made her blackout.
But she still have time to improve her speech,so let's just see 7 months from now if she can prove to all people that she deserves being the winner of Binibining Pilipinas World.
I hope she will do better on Miss World pageant and answers the question well.
After all we're not perfect,we're subjected to commit mistakes/errors but what is nice,we learned from our mistakes.

Napag-usapan nga ito doon sa high school yahoogroups namin. I read the transcript of her question and answer portion. I'll look for it and share it pag nahanap ko. :) HIndi nga ako makapaniwala na sya ang nanalo with her answers. It was a straight-forward question na hindi nya masagot or mai-express ang sarili nya, :( Makes us wonder if there is a conspiracy that made her win no matter what.
Yung punta namin sa Europe is to Rome,Pisa,Florence,Venice,Luzern,Zurich,Wengen(to see the Alps),Strasbourg,Trier,Brussels,Antwerp,Maastricht,Amsterdam,The Hague,Berlin and Munich. Isa lang mapuntahan namin sa France, tsaka na lang yung Paris, mag-ipon ulit. :)
okeyyyyyyyyyyyyy.......maybe it's a hoax?? nakakahiya naman if she has to answer the questions with her defense why she is not able to answer directly...ouch!!
hahay kailangang mag artista siya para makabawi naman kasi ang daming negative comments sa kanya, kawawang janila, by the way thanks for the visit friend!
In fairness,talagang maganda naman siya.I agree with u,nakulbaan lang gyud to siya!Pero of course, if foreigners had witnessed the show,it was so shameful why she answered like that!I had experienced being one of the judges in some local beauty pageants before & the way u answer has a very heavy weight.There is a criteria in every contest & probably,during that time,the criteria is different.Also the trend now in beauty pageants is far different than before.Society is getting more complex really & this affects how the judges choose the reigning queen.(hay,unta lang dili dyud siya paulaw-ulaw didto sa Ms.Universe contest!).
i read somewhere that they decide on miss world mostly on looks. so intelligence is not a big factor daw. while ms. universe and miss earth ba yon or international? would need bright candidates, so justified daw ang choice. tsk.. tsk..
oh my she really did terrible. she shouldn't have won. i don't think beauty is enough. tama nga c ruffa. how is she going to interact with the other candidates sa ms. world? shewas so confident konohay so being nervous is not an excuse. the question is so easy kac it's abt her personal life lng tapos di pa nya masagot. saon na lng ang mga big questions pag abot sa ms world. we'll pray for her na lng.
Hello Barb,Haydee,Norm,PrilyFrapr and Rissa thnaks for your opinions here.We share the same opinion,ewan ko ba sa judges bakit sya nanalo eh obvious naman na di sya deserving.We'll just hope that she will do better in Ms world.
