Chocolate: Good or Bad

Do you love chocolates?who doesn't love chocolates anyway.I do love chocos but I eat it moderately right now,especially that I gain some kilos again :( I have to watch my sugar intake too as we have a history of diabetes in the family.I always have a small pack of it in my bag incase if my cravings arrive :)

For me chocolates equate gaining weight and eventually leads to being diabetic if you take it excessively because of the high sugar,calorie and fat content.But do you know that chocolates are also good for health? yeah,I read it from a health forum,pure chocolates lower the blood pressure that reduce the chance of developing heart disease.Cocoa contains antioxidant called bioflavonoids which reduce the risk of cancer and heart disease.It also give a good source of vitamins and minerals such as iron,copper and magnesium.Not only that,it reduce stress.The feeling of enjoyment as we eat it makes us relax.What a good news for the chocolate lovers huh!

Just reminding you,anything that is too much is not good, so consume it moderately.Have fun eating!

yeah chocolate is good for u nga pero it's the dark kind coz it has antioxidants nga raw. i'm not really chocoholic but i love it once in a while.

Hi Amor,i eat chocolate moderately!hehehe!Although i love tsamporado a lot!hehehe!(cocoa man gihapon) or tsokolate,kana ganing tablea na batilon nato himoong sikwate!hahaha!i like that and i always have here in Pilipinas w/ a puto maya!kalami jud bah,murag mokaon na pod ko ani ugma puhon sa buntag!But anyway,i will tell u something:my mom told me that her grandmother used to drink tsokolate(coco beverage) everyday and guess what?she died at 115 years old.

Chocolate is always good, esp. if it's dark chocolate. As with other foods, everything in moderation. :)

Hello Barb,oo nga,anything that is too much is bad diba.Pero hindi ko type ang dark chocolate kasi mapait.

I love chocolate, I am a chocoholic person. It's one of my comfort foods, lol. If I may just share what I leaned from Ellie Krieger, you just have to keep a sensible portion to an ounce per serving. I know that the darker the chocolate the more anti-oxidant you will get, so go for the darker ones and not milk chocolates. It has heart-friendly anti-oxidants as well.
