Yesterday, I went to the Philippine National Bank in Paris to send some money to my family.I'm just a bit sad because the exchange value of euro to peso gradually goes down and it really freaks me out so much. As I have said in my previous post,I'll be quitting my job in 2 months and that means the amount of money that I sent before will not be the same anymore.
I'm happy as well for my country.This soaring of peso equates booming of economy, more developments and hopefully more jobs to my fellowmen in Philippines for the government can pay more of their international debts.They said that the country is towards to a bigger leap but why is it that the majority of Filipinos don't feel the outcome of this so called "soaring of peso".I really hope that the poor people benefit from this because they deserve to have a better life.

It will remain a "DREAM". The fact is, with the soaring corruption of our goverment, average living Filipinos who are condemned to stay in our country will never have their piece of share of what you mention "Booming of economy" as long as those "RATS" of poiticians will remain on the face of the earth!!
Guess you can read between the lines how frustrated I am regarding our politics, I myself is a "RAT" turning my back to our fellow Filipinos, but what to do!? as what they said: "Have to save my own skin first". Believe me Im not proud having this kind of attitudes toward others!!!

I agree with you Ann,as long as those greedy politicians continue to corrupt the government funds that are intented for the people especially the poor ones,it will remain a DREAM.But I still dream that it will come to a REALITY.
I felt the same but like you have said,I have to help myself first before I can help other people.We're just so lucky ,we're here.
